Mathesna Consultants Pty Ltd Founder Profile

Mathabiso Chamane is the Professional Accountant (S.A), Associate General Accountant (S.A), Hons (B.com Accounting, UFS)

She trained as an auditor with the Office of the Auditor General of South Africa in Houghton office and completed her SAICA articles in 2012 obtaining the Associate General Accountant (S.A)

In December 2012 she wrote and passed a Professional Exam with South African Institute of Professional Accountant to qualify as Professional Accountant S.A

She then spread her wings to National Heritage Council, the Public entity of Department of Art and Culture and resume the position Finance Director in 2013.

As the Auditor at the Office of the Auditor General she audited both Departments, public entities and Municipalities to count a few: Department of Housing, Department of Infrastructure Development, Dinokeng Tsa taemane Municipality which now is under Tshwane Municipality, Johannesburg Road Agency and many more.

Having a good auditing background and experience acquired during her training with the Office of the Auditor General of South Africa, enables her to fit well in the role as a finance director. Holding Senior Finance Manager Position at National Heritage council exposed her to leadership strategic role and sitting on audit and council boards of the entity.

In 2014 she co-founded Mathesna consultants with a friend she met at the University, Esnath Mugando who completed her SAICA articles at BDO, Tax specialist and qualified SAP Consultant.

The purpose to start Mathesna was to offer excellence consulting services to our clients in following fields:

• Financial Accounting and auditing Services
• Supply Chain Management Services
• Fixed Asset Register(FAR) support
• Tax Services
• Forensic Services
